Celebrate individuals with Down syndrome and raise funds for the Trisomy 21 Program at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Visit the event fundraising website to register for the event, organize a team, join a team, or make a donation.

Team Captain Information

Organizing your Team — IT’S EASY!

This is an overview of the steps you need to take as a Team Captain. Review this sheet before moving on to the detailed instructions for setting up your team’s web page.

  • Set Up Your Team’s Web Page

    Begin the process of building your Buddy Walk team by setting up a team web page. Follow the instructions provided below. (Note: We are not using active.com this year.)

  • Invite Your Friends and Family to Participate

    You will be able to email your family and friends right from your team’s website and invite them to register as part of your team. Teams raising $500 or more will be listed on the Buddy Walk t-shirt (donations must be received by CHOP by September 15, 2008 to be included on the shirt).

  • Request That Donations Be Made Online

    We encourage everyone to register and donate online whenever possible. It is quick, easy, and SECURE. Donors receive timely acknowledgement of their gift and a tax receipt, and you are immediately notified of their participation.

2007 Buddy Walk

Thanks to all who supported the 2007 Buddy Walk and Family Fun Day to fund the Trisomy 21 Program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. What a fabulous day we had - THE SUN ALWAYS SHINES ON OUR BUDDIES !!!
